Capacity Development Process
As an “Asset based Third Party” we have a clear understanding of carrier capabilities and needs. We have a team of professionals who work to source “new capacity” while we continue to grow with our current carrier base. As our client, you don’t need to establish multiple relationships with individual carriers to move shipments in a timely and cost-effective manner. Your relationship with Dupré will give you access to our existing connections with several hundred prequalified carriers.

Features
• Freight/Modal Optimization Dupré - Our freight optimization process analyzes your shipment by size and transit needs to determine the proper mode (TL-LTL-Intermodal) and we then optimize by provider sorting for service, price and long term reliability.

• Total responsibility for shipments - Dupré accepts 100% responsibility when handling traffic tendered to us. Our personnel will facilitate the timely pick up and delivery of freight using a core carrier group, and extended carrier base. We will either get it there on time or create options if a problem occurs.

• Carrier negotiation - Dupré is responsible for negotiating the price and capacity issues with the entire carrier base.

• Customized Carrier Safety Compliance Program - Dupré has created a unique system to evaluate current and potential new carriers’ safety records. The program, by extension, also provides for a safer future. For chemical shippers, this process includes use of the ACC audit tool in a Pre and Post Audit fashion.

• Carrier Safety Compliance Documentation - Dupré is responsible for ensuring that all documents relative to a carrier’s safety rating, authority, hazardous materials certification, financial stability and insurance are accurate and current. This is tracked electronically, blocking a carrier from being used if data is missing or expired.

• Monthly Metrics - Dupré personnel compile a variety of service – and transportation-related metrics for your team to review. These metrics are custom designed to provide you with all the data necessary to analyze all facets of their transportation network. Over time, Dupré will develop extensive historical data, which will help in trend analysis.

• Hazardous Materials Specialists - Dupré’s in-house, nationally recognized Safety Department has developed a unique hazardous materials carrier approval process that has allowed us to specialize in the managed movement of hazardous materials shipments.

• Tailored Reverse Logistics Solutions - Dupré’s capabilities include Tailored reverse Logistics management. Your reverse Logistics needs are not likely to be “cookie cutter” by nature, which is why we will first collaborate and then innovate a unique logistics solution that fits your dynamic needs.
