Good news! We are making important progress against COVID-19 in the United States. About 2 million people are receiving vaccinations on a typical day. As you make plans to get vaccinated, here is helpful information and resources:
- Three vaccines have been tested and authorized as safe and effective by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) – Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson.
- Getting U.S. adults vaccinated as soon as possible is critical to slowing and eventually stopping the pandemic. Public health experts encourage all of us to get one of the vaccines as soon as eligible.
- How much will I pay? The COVID-19 vaccine(s) and the administration of the vaccine is free to you. You should not pay anything to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
*If an insurance card is required, please present your MedImpact prescription card. If it is a federal vaccine location, a prescription card will not be required*
Once you meet state and local eligibility requirements, you can make an appointment to receive your COVID-19 vaccine at a participating vaccination location. COVID-19 vaccine supply is currently limited, and each state has its own plan for deciding which groups of people will be vaccinated first.
