Holly Sellers’ experience in her previous roles, both at Dupré and elsewhere, has provided her with the versatility and experience to be the servant leader that she is. She is currently an Assistant Operations Manager in the Dedicated Group.
As a former OTR driver, Holly knows the rules of the road and the importance of Always Forward Thinking! Prior to joining Dupré, Holly worked as a professional driver and hauled heavy equipment locally in Corpus Christi, TX and throughout the Gulf South. In July of 2011, Sellers joined Dupré because she saw the company as a way to, as she says, “fulfill her logistics destiny”. Some of the things that Sellers loves and appreciates about Dupré is the opportunity for growth, servant leadership, and the ability to help others advance in their careers.
Advancing from Petroleum Coke Driver to Operations Coordinator to Supervisor, Holly now participates in managing the Corpus Christi team as an Assistant Operations Manager. In addition to working in various roles, she is especially proud of supervising and overseeing the startup of projects at the Corpus Christi Terminal.
“Holly joined our Dupré family initially as a driver, and before long, there was a perfect opportunity for her in the office. In a very short amount of time, I quickly realized that Holly’s experience made her invaluable, and her new role suited her extremely well,” says Eric Hidalgo, Regional Operations Director, Dupré Logistics. “She has always been one of my go-to employee, and our successes in South Texas could not have happened without Holly’s willingness and energy. She is a fair, caring, and diligent worker. I am happy and enormously proud that we can recognize her here. She deserves it!”
While Holly maintains her CDL in case she would need to jump in and help at any time at the terminal, she also keeps busy with family and personal hobbies. With two daughters and three grandchildren, Holly’s family, including her mother and brother, are nearby and part of her everyday activities. Not to leave out her four-legged family members, Holly cares for her pets and other pets through serving on the board of directors of a local nonprofit animal rescue. When asked what she could not live without, Holly replied, “A purpose and good strong coffee”.
