Dupre’ Logistics LLC currently has openings for Inventory & Planning Manager in Lafayette, LA to support our Energy Distribution Services Business Unit.
Job Description
The Inventory & Planning Manager works in a fast paced environment that is at the hub of activity in our business unit. The primary responsibility of this position is to gather and interpret relevant inventory management data and monitor key performance data to anticipate customer service problems, opportunities, and driver capacity in the markets served. Then leverage this information into an executable plan that meets the customer’s expectations while managing resources and regulations the driver’s hours within the safety focus of the company and FMCSA regulations.
Key duties:
Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships
Monitor inventory levels for all assigned customer locations
Plan routes for drivers and monitor route plan execution
Maintain a professional relationship with Drivers and team members
Identification of issues, problem resolution and management notification
Night shift 5:00PM-5:00AM (12 hour shift)
Our Dispatchers work a 7 on - 7 off schedule

Job Qualifications: 2+ yrs customer service experience is preferred 2 yrs university course work in one of the following areas: Business Management, Marketing, Industrial Technology, Operations Management or Information Systems, etc. is preferred A customer service, operations, and/or industrial experience is a plus Working knowledge of DOT regulations is preferred Self motivation, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment Attention to detail Experience with TMW or like planning/dispatch software is preferred Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook.
