Louisiana Motor Transport Association (LMTA) recently revealed its 2025 Fleet Safety Award Winners. Al LaCombe, Dupré’s Vice President of Safety and Risk Management, was awarded the Safety Lifetime Achievement Award. Along with this prestigious award, Dupré was a top-winning company, receiving recognition in several categories.
Al LaCombe has spent over four decades with Dupré Logistics advancing trucking safety, implementing innovative training programs, and setting industry safety benchmarks. Under his leadership, Dupré has received multiple regional and national safety awards, including two first-place awards for the lowest accident frequency ratios per million miles presented at the 2025 LMTA Awards Ceremony.
Mr. LaCombe’s passion for safety extends beyond Dupré through community outreach, education, and recognition initiatives, all geared toward keeping our roads and communities safe.
Along with the Safety Lifetime Achievement Award, in partnership with Great West Casualty Company, LMTA named 18 division winners in the 2025 Louisiana Fleet Safety Awards. These awards stress the importance of safety, recognize professionalism, and focus on the principles behind safe driving programs, according to the LMTA.
