Employee Spotlight: Mark Harshfield

Just over a year ago, Mark Harshfield brought his experiences as a Marine and as a logistics sales manager to grow the Dupré Indiana/Chicago SCS branch. We have found that his forward thinking combined with Mark’s favorite thing about Dupré “the culture and the people” are a winning combination to build up revenue and have helped turn around the Chicago office.
Mark brings to Dupré, over 10 years of experience in the logistics industry. Here at Dupré, Mark’s work in the Strategic Capacity Services division includes managing the sales process within the Chicago branch, working with existing customers to retain and expand their business and securing new strategic customers. The Indiana/Chicago area SCS office serves the entire United States market. He said “I am most proud of getting the expedited plan rolling here at the Chicago Branch and most excited about expanding into different modes of transportation, white glove delivery, sprinter vans, flat bed trucks etc.”

While Mark stays focused on the bottom line at work, at home he spends time with his wife, three children, dog, and cat. When asked if there was an interesting fact about him, he mentioned that he doesn’t wear shoes with laces. He only wears boots or flip flops. Mark is an avid fisherman and boater and in his spare time he enjoys fishing or basically anything on the water. So if we can’t find Mark in the office, we know where we might be able to find him!
